State Assessments-Juniors Only!!!

Each academic year, Oregon students participate in federally mandated assessments. These evaluations provide essential data that our schools use to ensure every child is progressing toward their learning objectives. The insights gained enable us to customize our educational programs to address the diverse needs of our students.

In compliance with state law, we are required to inform you that the Oregon Department of Education offers a form allowing you to opt your child out of the English Language Arts and Mathematics assessments for the current school year. We understand that individual circumstances differ, and this opt-out provision empowers parents and guardians to make informed decisions about their child's participation in these assessments.

If you choose to opt your child out of the English Language Arts and Mathematics assessments for this school year, please complete the opt-out form available on our district website or at the main office.
