Course Title: Scappoose High School Advanced Leadership
Course Description:
Our 2024-25 Projects: Senior Parking Spaces, Homecoming Parade/Dance, Football Night Marketplace, Class Fundraising, Spirit Weeks, Community Communication via Readerboard/Socials, Door Greeters, Club Outreach, Advisory Ambassadors, Assemblies, Holiday Philanthropy Projects (Veterans Breakfast, Thanksgiving Baskets, and Foster Care Giving Tree), Freshman Link Crew, Class Elections, Winterball, Doernbecher Days, Prom, and Graduation!
Leadership Course Objectives:

Leadership Theories and Styles: Examine various leadership theories and styles, from transformational to servant leadership, to understand how different approaches can be applied in diverse situations.

Communication Skills: Develop advanced communication techniques, including public speaking, active listening, and conflict resolution, to effectively lead and collaborate with others.

Teamwork and Collaboration: Learn strategies for building and leading teams, fostering collaboration, and managing group dynamics to achieve common goals.
